Illinois Firm Recalls Chicken Products Due to Possible Salmonella Enteritidis Contamination 
Aspen Foods Division of Koch Meats, a Chicago, Il., based establishment, is recalling 28,980 pounds of chicken products that may be contaminated with a particular strain of Salmonella Enteritidis.

  1. Well, they’re the second largest privately-owned company in the United States so my guess would be they have their fingers in everything. The fact various groups have been boycotting Koch Brothers companies for a few years, might cause them to be extra quiet about what they own/operate/etc.

    Bottom line, I don’t know the answer to your question, but it definitely would not surprise me if they were into chicken – they’re definitely into beef, with a 440,000 acre cattle ranch.
