“For the reasons described in this Report, and after a comprehensive investigation, we have concluded that, in connection with the AFC Championship Game, it is more probable than not that New England Patriots personnel participated in violations of the Playing Rules and were involved in a deliberate effort to circumvent the rules.”

  1. Richard W. Walrath says:

Do you suppose the media can keep this story alive until the next football game?

    • Are you using an alias? Your middle initial is showing up as W 🙂

I can’t even provide a guess to your question because I’m totally disgusted with what is reported in this country as ‘news’, and the biased manner in which anything is reported.

I read bits and pieces of the report and the way it is written indicates they can’t say yea or nay for sure, which means the penalties imposed by the NFL against Brady, etc., are pretty meaningless if appealed.

Whether or not Brady had anything to do with instigating the entire mess, he KNEW the minute he picked up any football that it was deflated and should have been reported.

Winning the Super Bowl illegally? What kind of message does that send to young people – when it comes to sports (winning is the name of the game whether by hook or by crook?

We know that’s how it works in politics, but the primary purpose of sports should be to teach good sportsmanship.

      End of rant 🙂
